Some of my favorite childhood memories are associated with books. This trip has allowed me to trace their roots and relieve those stories - combining my two favorite pastimes: reading & traveling! Sounds like NPR to me - and even though I already knew most of that, it was pleasant and fascinating to listen. Then again, being my eldest offspring, you've always brought children's literature alive for me! And now I'm wishing for elevenses!
